My sister called me a few minutes ago and asked me this question. She has been taking birth control pills for a few months, she stopped taking them about a week or two ago. Last night she had unprotected sex, the day after she finished a somewhat regular period. When she thought about it this morning, she took two of her normal birth control pills to prevent any possible pregnancy. Will this work, or should she seek the morning after pill or something else?

I take Yasmin and it doesn’t make me gain weight but it is expensive. I’ve tried several older birth control pills that were cheaper, but they made me hungry and I started eating like a cow.
Does anyone know what the names of the birth control pills that will not make a person hungry or gain weight?

BTW I’m not over weight and I take the pill to keep my cycle regular so there is no need for sarcastic remarks.
