I plan to go on birth-control immediately after I have my daughter (esp. since they say it’s really easy to get pregnant within a year of having your first, so I wont take any chances). What birth control methods are safe? What pills? What about depo-provera, or the shot? Or the patch? I plan to discuss this with my OB at my next appointment but I just want some ideas now. I’m currently on Ortho Tri-Cyclen Lo birth control. I’ve heard it can be expensive. I need to put in my prescription soon but i don’t want to use my insurace because i’m under my parents. If i do use my insurance, will my parents find out about the birth control? Or would it be possible to use my boyfriends insurance to cover my birth control? If there is anyone taking the same brand of BC as me, could you let me know how much you pay and whether or not you use insurance.
