What birth control is safe to use while breastfeeding?
February 27th, 2009 | by Mike |Lily’s Maa-ma! asked:
I plan to go on birth-control immediately after I have my daughter (esp. since they say it’s really easy to get pregnant within a year of having your first, so I wont take any chances). What birth control methods are safe? What pills? What about depo-provera, or the shot? Or the patch? I plan to discuss this with my OB at my next appointment but I just want some ideas now. Any suggestions/knowledge?

Condoms!
I would suggest that you ask about progesterone based birth control, it can be used safely but some doctors won’t prescribe it.

The pill or having to 10 years and then checked during your postpartum visit and can be in place up to go get the pill or having to go get the depo every so often most iuds can be in place.
An iud only because they are are placed inside during your yearly visit and can be in place up to go get the pill or having to go get the depo every so often most iuds can be taken out at anytime they are lot easier than trying to.

condoms most doctors don’t recommend pills or patch’s when breastfeeding. you can’t have *** until the doctor clears you and that’s about 6 or 8 wks. and ur not really going to have the energy after having a baby to have *** anyway.
